It depends on which model you have. If you are the original or an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic then all you need to do is unscrew the lens (the left of the goal in front of you). If you have a K mount body like the modified K1000 or ME, you need the release button of the target before pressing the lens out.
Let us know exactly what model have you received specific instructions.
How old? The Pentax K mount cameras have a bayonet release button on the same side as the trigger.
If you are the old, old lenses screw, there is no button to release. This is a tight fit. Simply unscrew.
